BatteryCare includes the following features:
- Battery discharge monitoring cycle - As the number of configured discharge cycles is reached, a notification balloon pops up to warn that full discharge is needed.
- Complete battery information - Displays all the detailed information about the battery, such as wear level, capacity, consumption, manufacturers and others
- Notification area information - In battery mode, the notification icon shows the remaining time and percentage of battery.
- Auto switching power plans - Depending on the resources of the computer, automatic BatteryCare can choose which power plan you want.
- Control over Windows Aero and demanding Services - Auto disable accelerated graphics themes in Windows Vista or services that require long battery life degrades. Once the laptop is not running on battery, the theme is re-activated and stop services restored.
